The family of Patricia Ann Thompson will begin receiving friends at 9:00 a.m., Monday, October 18, 2021 at Laurel Oaks Funeral Home located at 12649 Lake June Road, Mesquite, Texas 75180. The service will begin at 10:00 a.m. Pastor David Hardin of New Life Church in Garland, Texas will officiate. Interment will follow at Laurel Oaks Memorial Park where she will be laid to rest beside her husband in the Garden of Easter Hill. Mrs. Thompson went to be with her Lord and Savior Saturday, October 9, 2021. She was born April 2, 1939 in Chicago, Illinois to Ralph and Margaret "Margie" (Comer) Tabler. She was 82 years of age. Mrs. Thompson was an amazing wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and sister. She is now in Heaven with the love of her life, her husband of 35 years, Donald Ray Thompson. She is survived by her three children, David Ray Thompson, Jeffrey Wayne Thompson, and Susan Lynn Carroll; two grandchildren, Brittany Nicole Carroll and Samantha Jane Thompson; one great-grandchild, Lucille Luna Rivera; two sisters, Mary Kay Crawford and Sandy Salter; and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends. Arrangements are under the care of Laurel Oaks Funeral Home.
