Mary E. Wagner, 70, of McVeytown, passed away after a brief battle with lung cancer on Wednesday October 13, 2021 at Geisinger-Lewistown Hospital. Born March 26, 1951 in Armagh Township, she was the daughter of the late Walter and Geraldine (Shehan) Wagner. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her siblings, Bill Wagner and Marie Reed and an infant sister, Ruth Wagner. Mary is survived by her daughter, Sherrie Marsh and husband Bob of McVeytown: grandchildren, Jonathan Marsh and Jessica Marsh and a great granddaughter on the way; siblings, Dorothy McKnight and husband Dave of McVeytown; Jim Wagner and wife Amy of Huntingdon; Lee Wagner of McVeytown and Hulda McCartle and husband Herb of McVeytown. Mary was employed as a hairdresser for over 40 years at Carole Shuey’s Beauty Salon and Mane Headlines. She was a member of Calvary Bible Church and loved spending time with her family and friends. A celebration of Mary’s life will be held at 5:00 p.m. on Monday October 18th, 2021 at Calvary Bible Church, 100 Calvary Lane, Lewistown PA, 12044, with Pastor Bob Marsh to officiate. There will be a visitation held at the church from 4:00 p.m. until time of service. Interment will be private.
