Alma Jean Carpenter White, age 73, of Jeffersonville, KY passed away Wednesday, October 13,2021 in the Hazard ARH Hospital, Hazard, KY from a brief illness. Born April 1,1948 in Jackson,KY to Luther and Dulcene Dysart Carpenter. She was a member of the Hope First Church Of God, Hope, KY. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend.

Surviving are her loving husband Douglas Eugene White of Jeffersonville, KY, Two sons, Douglas Eugene White II and Stacy White of Jeffersonville,KY. Lonny David White and Maribeth White of Means,KY. Three grandchildren, Autumn Alyssa Marie White, Chelsea Diana White, Hunter Lee Douglas White. Five siblings, Freddie Eugene and Connie Carpenter, and Junnie Mae Carpenter and fiance Rigo Campus, all of West Liberty,KY. Carolyn Ann and Dean May of Jeffersonville,K Y. Dorothy Marlene & Patrick Hamilton of Hampstead, NC., Luther Dale & Susie Carpenter of West Liberty,KY.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Luther and Dulcene Dysart Carpenter, grandson, Austin Lee Denver Finley.

Funeral services will be 1:00pm, Tuesday, October 19,2021 at Hope First Church Of God,(10246 Hope Means Rd,) Hope, KY with Brother Glennis Sizemore and Pastor John Hobson officiating. Interment in Carpenter Family Cemetery, White Oak,KY. Visitation will be 6:30pm, Monday at the Hope First Church Of God, Hope, KY. Menifee Home For Funerals, Frenchburg,KY Randy Halsey Funeral Director in care of arrangements.
