McLaughlin, John Edward: Passed away unexpectedly yet peacefully at St. Mary's Hospital, on Sunday, October 10, 2021, at the age of 82. Husband of 42 years to Viola (nee Weiss). Father of Johnny Lee McLaughlin and Darryl McLaughlin and step-father of Trevor Schoenrock of BC. Predeceased by his parents, Ernest and Delvina (nee Payette) McLaughlin and his brothers, Ernest McLaughlin, Wayne McLaughlin and Pat McLaughlin. A Memorial Mass will be held at St. Aloysius Catholic Church on Tuesday, October 19, 2021 at 11:00 AM. Masks and social distancing must be observed. Interment Woodland Cemetery. Arrangements are entrusted to the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467.
