MINNIE "JACKIE" BOND

<p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size:22px;"><em><strong>Minnie &ldquo;Jackie&rdquo; Bond of White Haven, passed away on Monday, October 11, 2021 at Kingston Health Care Center. </strong></em></span></p> <p style="text-align: justify;">&nbsp;</p> <p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size:22px;"><em><strong>Born in Freeland, she was the daughter of the late George and Elizabeth Beam. Before her retirement, Jackie worked at the White Haven Center in dietary and as a switchboard operator. She was a member of St. Paul&rsquo;s Lutheran Church in White Haven. She enjoyed crocheting and going to auctions and vacationing with her husband and brother and sister-in law, Bobby and Jane Beam. What she enjoyed most in life was spending time with her children and grandchildren, especially their numerous camping adventures. Jackie was involved with girl scouting and softball coaching in White Haven when her daughters were young.</strong></em></span></p> <p style="text-align: justify;">&nbsp;</p> <p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size:22px;"><em><strong>She was preceded in death by her husband Lawrence &ldquo;Larry&rdquo; of 71 years, daughter Jacqueline Wilkinson, sisters Elizabeth Beam, Dorothy Ashburn, Emma Schoch, brothers George Beam, Richard Beam, Robert Beam and Ronald Beam.</strong></em></span></p> <p style="text-align: justify;">&nbsp;</p> <p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size:22px;"><em><strong>She is survived by son Lawrence (Susan) Bond of White Haven and daughter Carol (William) Hankinson of Dorrance; grandsons David Troell, Steven Koch, Michael Troell, Jeremy Bond, Zachariah Wilkinson, Jason Bond, Austin Wilkinson, Kyle Hankinson, granddaughter Kaitlyn Harrell, great-granddaughters Emily Troell, Addyson Saunders, Larae Whatmore, Mya Harrell, Emilia Harrell, great-grandsons Gavin Troell, Jayden Bond, Conner Troell, Tanner Bond; brother Gordon Beam of Freeland and sister-in law Jane Beam of Brodheadsville, numerous nieces and nephews.</strong></em></span></p> <p style="text-align: justify;">&nbsp;</p> <p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size:22px;"><em><strong>Funeral service will be conducted on Saturday, October 23, 2021, at 11:00 am from the Lehman Family Funeral Service, Inc. 403 Berwick St. White Haven. Interment will follow in Laurel Cemetery, White Haven.</strong></em></span></p> <p style="text-align: justify;">&nbsp;</p> <p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size:22px;"><em><strong>Friends are invited to join the family for a visitation from 10 to 11 am at the funeral home.</strong></em></span></p> <p style="text-align: justify;">&nbsp;</p> <p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size:22px;"><em><strong>The family would like to thank the caregivers at Kingston Health Care Center and the Hospice of the Sacred Heart for their compassion and care.</strong></em></span></p> <p style="text-align: justify;">&nbsp;</p>
