Rodney Glen Schlueter, age 71, of Wautoma, passed away early Wednesday morning, October 13, 2021 at Theda Care Medical Center in Wild Rose. He was born September 10, 1950 in Wild Rose, the son of Glen and Florence (Furrer) Schlueter.                                                                                                                                                                                                            

Rodney farmed with his parents in the Town of Dakota for many years. He loved the outdoors and enjoyed hunting and ice fishing. Rodney belonged to league bowling for many years.         

He is survived by his cousins: Dale (Sharon) Schluter, Livingston, Errol (Beth) Schluter, Oconomowoc, Annette (Tom) Goltz, Wausau, Vicki (Terry) Carstenn, Oconomowoc. Rodney is further survived by other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents.                                                                                                                                                               

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, October 21, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at Grace United Methodist Church in Wautoma with Rev. Stephanie Taylor officiating. He will be laid to rest next to his parents and Prairie Home Cemetery in Waukesha. Visitation will be held on Thursday at the church from 12:30 p.m. until the time of services.
