<p>Julie Wood Miller (Jules), 71, returned to her Heavenly home, due to multiple health issues on Saturday, October 9, 2021, at approximately 11:45 AM at LDS Hospital; Salt Lake City, Utah. Born in Logan, Utah on June 2, 1950 to Reed D. Wood and Elva Davis Wood. She grew up in River Heights, Utah; graduating from Sky View High School, where she enjoyed cheerleading and many friendships.</p> <p>Julie lived in Logan, Utah for most of her life, including Hawaii Kai, Oahu (most favorite), Las Vegas, Nevada, and Southern California. She attended Cosmetology school in Las Vegas, while employed as a cocktail waitress and Photographer (&ldquo;Camera Girl&rdquo;) at the MGM. She was gifted as a Hair Stylist; eventually owning and operating a Beauty Salon in Southern California.&nbsp;</p> <p>She was quite the Entrepreneur during her years in Hawaii. By nature, she was a Gourmet taste cook; Owner and Operator of an Italian restaurant; and Developer of a popular game, entitled... &ldquo;Surf&rsquo;s Up Hawaii.&rdquo;&nbsp;</p> <p>After returning home to Logan, she acquired sole Ownership and Management of a storage unit company... &ldquo;1400 North Storage.&rdquo; She continued as a stylist, which enabled her to meet her best friend Marsha Jenkins in a local beauty supply store. They became inseparable! Julie also enjoyed the company of her pets, Mojo and Sadie Girl. Her family is comforted in knowing she is now with them, along with family and loved ones. She has unwavering faith in God the Eternal Father, and his son Jesus Christ; receiving her Temple endowments in the Logan LDS Temple; several years ago.&nbsp;</p> <p>She is survived by her loving son, Jason Dwight Miller (Logan, UT), her grandson, Austin Jason Miller (Logan, UT), her brothers and sister, Steven Reed Wood (Las Vegas, NV), Betty Rae Wood Buckner (Las Vegas, NV), and Douglas Jay Wood (Karma), (River Heights, UT). She is preceded in death by her parents, her sister Kathy Wood West, and her brother Robert D. Wood.&nbsp;</p> <p>Jules had a global spectrum of friends, who loved her dearly and will miss her greatly. She had a heart of Gold; impeccable at maintaining several close relationships, endured many losses and trials; knew several famous people, loved everyone, had a strong work ethic, greatest sense of humor and laugh (known to mankind!), brilliant writer, artistic, and a vibrant-loving spirit.&nbsp;</p> <p>Her family would like to thank the paramedics, doctors and nurses at Logan Regional Hospital, Life Flight Crew and LDS Hospital. for her care during her last moments on earth. Due to covid a &ldquo;Celebration of Life,&rdquo; will take place at a later date.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p>

Julie Wood Miller (Jules), 71, returned to her Heavenly home, due to multiple health issues on Saturday, October 9, 2021, at approximately 11:45 AM at LDS Hospital; Salt Lake City, Utah. Born in Logan, Utah on June 2, 1950 to Reed D. Wood and Elva Davis Wood. She grew up in River Heights, Utah; graduating from Sky View High School, where she enjoyed cheerleading and many friendships.

Julie lived in Logan, Utah for most of her life, including Hawaii Kai, Oahu (most favorite), Las Vegas, Nevada, and Southern California. She attended Cosmetology school in Las Vegas, while employed as a cocktail waitress and Photographer (“Camera Girl”) at the MGM.
