Ross Wayne Erickson, born on September 13th, 1959 in Lethbridge, Alberta passed away peacefully and painlessly on the evening of October 8th, 2021 in Murray, UT at the age of 62 years old after a hard-fought battle with COVID. Ross grew up in his hometown of Lethbridge, Alberta with two loving parents, William Reed Erickson and Helen Doris Coombe, and was the youngest of four siblings: Brian Erickson (Karen), Jan Mason (Mark) and Val Walker (Keith). He served a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in the Arizona Holbrook Mission speaking the Navajo language. He would return home to attend BYU in Provo, UT to obtain a Bachelor’s degree as well as meet his eternal companion, Lisa Gaye Erickson. Ross is a father to four children: Jordan, Taylor (Jennsine), Connor and Lauren Erickson. Ross had a very successful career in the gaming industry as a Product Manager for companies such as Compaq, Microsoft, and Vivendi Games to name a few. Ross and his family lived in multiple parts of the United States including Texas, Alabama, Utah, Washington state and Nevada. Ross is the proud grandfather to two grandchildren, Everett Steven Erickson and Naomi Lisa Erickson. Ross loved animals. He recently spent time with his German Shepherd, Hannah. He enjoyed exploring, flying kites, photography, motorcycle riding, learning new things, skiing, and gaming. The memorial for Ross will be held on Monday, October 18th at 12:30 pm MST at Nelson Family Mortuary located at 4780 N University Ave, Provo, UT 84604. There will be a visitation prior to the services from 11:00 am to 12:30 pm.
