Dennis Lee Fuller

Dennis Lee Fuller, 67, of Loyd, passed away on Wednesday, October 13, 2021, after complications from his courageous battle with cancer at the Reedsburg Area Medical Center. He was born on March 29, 1954, the son of William and Valda (Smyth) Fuller. Dennis graduated from Ithaca High School in 1972. After marrying his high school sweetheart Janet in January of 1974, they began their life together on Dennis’ family farm near Loyd. This union was blessed with three children: Jason Lee, Kari Rose, and Kimberly Rose. Together, they raised their children while farming the family farm for many years. Dennis loved the outdoors, mushroom hunting, deer hunting, and visiting with family and friends. Dennis enjoyed helping his community by serving on the Ithaca School Board and several other agriculture related organizations over the years. Dennis is survived by his wife of 47 years, Janet Fuller; their three children, Jason Fuller, Kari (James) Honer, and Kim (Brandon) Wanless; grandchildren Jason Diego Fuller, Sophia Fuller, Jacqueline Fuller, Kiersten Honer (special friend Michael Bondi), Johnathan Honer (special friend Amara Cockroft), Justin Honer, Emmalyn Honer, Carter Wanless; and one great grandchild Nico Bondi. He is also survived by his sister, Linda (Jack) Baird of Cottage Grove; sisters-in-law Beth Fuller of Loyd, Elieen Fuller of Corralitos, CA, Pat Shireman of Richland Center, Deb Taylor of Sextonville, Chris (John) Storer of Richland Center; brother-in-law Keith Herbeck of Sextonville; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and special friends. Dennis was preceded in death by his parents, William and Valda; brothers William Jr, Milford, Larry; father and mother-in-law Albin and Elois Herbeck, and brother-in-law Don Herbeck. “Our family chain is broken and nothing seems the same, but as God calls us one by one the Chain will link again.” Funeral services will be held on Sunday, October 17, 2021 at the Pratt Memorial Chapel starting with a visitation at 10:00 AM, followed by a service at 11:00 AM with Paul Fries officiating. Burial to follow at the Loyd Cemetery. The family requests masks be worn for the visitation and funeral service.
