Marie Murillo
<p> </p> <p> </p> <p>Marie Murillo, 78, passed away surrounded by her loving family on October 12, 2021 in Manteca, California. Marie was born on November 26, 1942 in Calexico, California to the late Odilon Torres and Maria de Jesus Guerrero. In Heaven she joins her Father, Mother, late husband Julio Manuel, her brother Manuel Cadena and niece Marlene Aguilar. She is survived by her children: Alfred (Anna) Murillo of South Weber, Utah; Johnny (Terry) Murillo of Burbank, CA; Victor (Debbie) Murillo of Fontana, CA, Desiree (Ruben) Velasquez of Manteca, CA and Denise Murillo of Manteca, CA. Marie was blessed with 14 grandchildren: Joshua (Sian-addy), Isaiah, Gianna (Logan), Jaquelyn, Jonathon (Cyndi), Myriah (Taylor) Bethany, Isaac, Phillip, Daniel, Breanna, Leah, Alyssa, Aaron, Andreis and Justin. She is also survived by her siblings: Connie Aguilar, Ted Guerrero and Rachel Guerrero.</p> <p>Marie graduated from Willow Glen High School, worked in the San Jose Canary Industry and had a 30 year career as a bus driver for Valley Transportation Authority. She loved to garden, collect antiques and was active in her church. She traveled to various locations such as Russia, China, Israel and loved beach destinations.</p> <p>Marie was a very independent and strong woman. She was a devoted Mother and was extremely kind and generous. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends. She is now with her true love, her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.</p> <p>P.L.
