Linda Sue Abney, 65, of Calhoun, TN passed away on October 10, 2021. She was born on November 29, 1955 in Middletown, OH. She is the daughter of Walker Hasty and Retha White Hasty. She enjoyed cooking, helping people, and making people laugh. Above all, she loved being with her grandchildren and spending time with them. She was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her. She is preceded in death by her mother, Retha Hasty; daughter Kelly Grace Abney; special friends Sue Coffey and Luita Allen. She leaves behind to cherish her memory her husband Timothy Abney; father Walker Hasty; children: Lucinda Oboyle (Danny), Nicole Lucas, and Amy Hamblin (Doug); stepchildren: Brandi Abney, Timothy Abney, Dion Abney, Josh Abney, and Jerry Abney; siblings: Denetta Reidel, Charlotte Agee, Sherrie Duff, Lisa Zimmerman, Billy Hasty, Jeff Hasty, and Scott Hasty; grandchildren: Steven Oboyle, Daniell Oboyle, Matthew Smead, Ava Smead, Amyah Hamblin, Billie Hamblin, Aiden Hamblin; great grandchildren: Lilli, Miles, Eli, Nadiya, and Bailey. She also leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family members and friends. Her family will receive friends from 4:00pm to 7:00pm on Monday October 18, 2021 at the Cleveland Chapel of Companion Funeral Home. A celebration of life service will follow the visitation at 7:00pm.
