It is with great sadness that the family announces his passing in Sudbury on Tuesday, October 12, 2021 at the age of 97 years. Son of the late Ovide and late Rosa (née Cloutier) Dugas. Beloved husband of the late Anita Claire (née Carrière) Dugas. Loving father of Diane Lapointe (late Lawrence), Liliane Dugas (Peter Shaver), Raymond (Vicky), Roger (Rosana), Estelle Dugas and Lise Dugas (Darren Durling). Dear brother of Claire McPhail (Bill), Jackie Dugas and his sister-in-law Fleurette Dubee (François). Predeceased by his siblings Rosanna, Joseph, Régina, Donat, Raymonde, Vyna, Thérèse and Aurore Carriere (Ron). Cherished grandfather of Louise, Christine, Joanne, Laurie-Anne, Celeste, Jenny, Shelly, Stacey, Ryan, Robyn, Holly and great-grandfather of Michel, Adam, Brayden, Amy, Marc, Ashley, Paige, Erick, Cassie, Brendan, Ellie, Emmet, Nolan, Thea, Taylor, Myles, and great great-grandfather Kaidance, Rylan, Ezra, Odin, Hunter, Joel and Jace. Blessed with many great-great-grandchildren. Sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Raymond was born in Gogama, Ontario. He had a great sense of humor and was a practical joker. He left a lasting impression on all those who knew him. A private funeral service will be held in the funeral home Chapel.
