Marcella Perkins Obituary

Marcella Perkins, age 94, of Erlanger, KY was enveloped in the arms of the Lord on Tuesday, October 12, 2021. She was born the daughter of Carl and Florence Brown on December 6, 1926 in Pendleton, KY. Marcella worked and retired from Levi Strauss Company and was a parishioner at All Saints Catholic Church in Walton, KY. She enjoyed flower gardening and loved to walk the trails in Walton Park. She was known as a stupendous cook (especially for her mashed potatoes and desserts) and adored Christmastime. She will be remembered as a mother, sister, aunt, and “Grandma Cella” who deeply treasured her family. Marcella was preceded in death by her parents; her brothers Harry Brown and Roy Brown; and her husband Edward Lee Perkins. Those left to carry on her love and light are her son, Larry Bunch (Peggy); sister Juanita Redmond; grandchildren Jeff Bunch (Tara), Sherry Bunch; several great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; along with many nieces, nephews, cousins, other close family members and friends. A mass of Christian burial will be held at 10:00 AM on Monday, October 18, 2021 at All Saints Catholic Church, 62 Needmore St, Walton, KY 41094. Marcella will then be laid to rest near her beloved Edward at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens, 5336 Old Taylor Mill Rd, Covington, KY 41015.
