Kevin M. Liggins was born on August 25, 1955 in Bridgeport, CT to Mr. Herculano “Hurkey” Dias and the late Barbara M. Liggins. Kevin entered eternal rest on October 11, 2021 in the comfort of his home. He was educated in the Bridgeport School System and graduated from Bassick High School, where he also played football. Kevin also attended Virginia State University where he was a member of the Groove Phi Groove Fraternity. He was employed with Hine Brothers for nine years. Kevin was also employed with the City of Bridgeport as a Guidance Counselor, Substitute Teacher, and Crossing Guard. Kevin was predeceased by one sister, Brenda Walker. Kevin leaves to cherish his memories his life long partner Gail Johnson, four sons; Kevin Keli Rashee Liggins, Allen Johnson, Eric Johnson (Fannie), Terrance Johnson ,one daughter; Dominique Liggins, one special granddaughter; Milani Mayo along with six other grandchildren all of Bridgeport, CT. three brothers; Sean Liggins (Patty), Alan Dias, Antonio Dias, and one sister Debra Ramsey. A special friend; Stephen Johnson, three aunts; Lila J. Harden, Eva Fernandez and Jennie Monterio, one uncle; Donald Liggins, several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
