JEANNE M. KAFFENBERGER On Monday, October 11, 2021, she died peacefully at her residence in Washington, DC. She was born November 15, 1924, and raised in Freeport, NY. Jeanne and her beloved husband of 70 years, Karl G. Kaffenberger (deceased), resided in Granby, CT for over 50 years. In Granby, she volunteered supporting numerous community organizations including the Blood Bank, Farmington Valley Visiting Nurses Association and the grant submission of Stoney Hill Village community housing. Jeanne cherished friends and family who will miss her engaging personality. She will be warmly remembered by her children: K.R. Kaffenberger of West Roxbury, MA, Jan Aber of Washington, DC, Kurt Kaffenberger (Martha) of Burlington, VT and Jason Kaffenberger (Donna) of Manchester, CT. She is also survived by grandchildren: Blake Aber (Lisa) of Port Washington, NY, Sam Kaffenberger of Burlington, VT, and Parnell Kaffenberger of Charlestown, MA, and great grandchildren: Rory and Hadrian Aber. Services will be private.
