Richard Kropidlowski

Richard "Kroppie" Kropidlowski age 79, of Stevens Point, passed away at his home on October 13, 2021.

Richard was born on September 13, 1942 in Chippewa Falls, WI. He moved to Portage County as a young adult and lived in the DeGroot Adult Family Home in Almond and Stevens Point for over 30 years. After the DeGroots death he continued living in Stevens Point with the help of his family. He worked at Community Industry Corporation in Stevens Point from 1974 until his retirement in 2008. He was a member of Community Friends. He is survived by his family - Micheal and Ruby Rajkowski, Kaela, Chloe, Tobin, and Sebastian Rajkowski; Mark and Brenda Howard and children Rosemarie, Lillian, and Colton; and Scott Rajkowski. He was preceded in death by George and Bonnie DeGroot. A special thank you to Brenda and Scott for their loving care, Inclusa for helping keep him at home, and to the Stevens Point Fire Department, Police Department, and the EMS workers.

A celebration of Richard's life and his love for Halloween, Dolly Parton, and Polkas will be on October 19, 2021 at Shuda Funeral Home: 3200 Stanley St., visitation will be from 10:00 AM - Noon, followed by a celebration of life service. Burial will be in the St. Paul Lutheran Cemetery. Feel free to wear a Halloween costume or funny hat in honor of Kroppie.
