Judith Ann Spencer of Gunter, Texas, died on Sunday, October 10, 2021, at the age of 78. She was born in Sherman on July 9, 1943. She earned her Master's Degree from the University of North Texas, had a long career in elementary education, and retired from Prosper ISD. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ray and Alma Spencer, and is survived by numerous cousins. Judy was raised in Texas City, Texas, but moved to Gunter where she lived until she died. Her greatest loves in retirement were her cats and her yard, which she maintained meticulously. Judy will be missed. A chapel service will be held at Scoggins Funeral Home in Van Alstyne, Texas, on Wednesday, October 20, 2021, at 2:00PM with Rev. Mark Fletcher officiating.
