Mary Ann Julia Brake June 14, 1954 – October 13, 2021 Corner Brook, NL It is with great sadness that the family of the late Mary Ann Julia Brake announce her passing on Wednesday, October 13, 2021 at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital in Corner Brook at the age of 67 years. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her son John Costello (Katrina); sister Pauline Gillingham (Austin); brothers: Kevin Brake and Bruce Brake (Donna; brother-in-law Martin Kennedy; sister-in-law Peggy Brake; special friends Heidi Costello (Jerry) and Trixie Crawford (Jack); as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her partner John Costello Sr., parents Bruce and Laura Brake, sisters Theresa Whitehorne and Margaret Kennedy, brothers Joe and Bob Brake. Cremation has taken place. A graveside service will be held at Mount Patricia Cemetery on Thursday, October 21 at 1:30 p.m. with Father Lee Lainey officiating. As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to the NL West SPCA or a charity of one’s choice.
