Sara Mae Goldsberry, 38, of Chillicothe, passed from this life on Tuesday, October 12, 2021, following an extended illness.  She was born on October 22, 1982 in Chillicothe, to Mark Goldsberry and Carla (Hafner) Goldsberry.

Surviving are her daughters; Aubrey Goldsberry (James Dement), and Maggie Carroll, both of Chillicothe, mother and step-father; Carla (Lee) Dennison, Bainbridge, one grandchild due May 2022, brothers; Shawn Goldsberry and David (Kimbra Randall) Goldsberry, special nieces and nephews; Mark, Payton, and Antonia, aunts and uncles; John and Linda Claytor, Nancy and Tony Broughton, and Sharon Johnston, and several cousins.  She was preceded in death by her father, grandmothers; Rosalie Hafner and Wanda Goldsberry, and aunts and uncles.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to Adena Hospice for their wonderful care of Sara.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday October 20, 2021 in the FAWCETT OLIVER GLASS AND PALMER FUNERAL HOME, with Pastor Ron Chapman, officiating.  Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until the hour of service on Wednesday.  Memorial contributions may be made to Purrfect Companions, (www.purrfectcompanionscrc.com)
