Margaret Anne Chapman, age 67 of New Castle, passed away the afternoon of Oct. 12, 2021, at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh, after a long battle with Pulmonary Hypertension. Born Dec. 10, 1953, in New Castle she was the daughter of the late Edward C. and Jane (Bechtol) Chapman, Jr. Margaret was a 1971 graduate of New Castle High School. She went on to study at St. Francis School of Nursing graduating in 1974. Margaret was an OR nurse at Grove City, St. Elizabeth, Jameson, and Allegheny General Hospitals and she also worked many weekends at various local nursing homes. She loved traveling, casinos, watching TV and listening to music. Survivors include a niece and three nephews; one brother, Edward C. Chapman III; one sister Susan C. Roalick; her best friend of 46 years, Delores Palmer; four special friends, Russell Marney, Michelle Lesher, Robert Marney, Heather Zook and the love her life, her dog Zoe. In addition to her parents, Margaret was preceded in death by her fiancé, Lucius Samuels. In keeping with her wishes there will be no visitation or services. Burial will be at Castle View Cemetery.
