Agnes Jaglas, 99, of Pottsville, formerly of Hummelstown, Pa. passed away Tuesday, October 12th, at Genesis Eldercare Schuylkill Center, Pottsville. Agnes was born in Minersville, on February 20, 1922, a daughter of the late Margaret (Kaleda) and William Parulis. She was the widow of Daniel Jaglas. She was a graduate of Minersville High School. She was a former member of St. Joan of Arc Roman Catholic Church, Hummelstown. Before devoting her life as a homemaker she was employed at Olmstead Air Force Base. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dan, her daughter, Cindy, a sister, Madeline Barber, a brother, William Parulis and a great nephew, Scott Bedford. Agnes is survived by nieces, Sandra, wife of Robert Arner, Gail, wife of Gary Bedford, and Lynn Barber. Nephews, Thomas, husband of KayAnne Barber and William, husband of Joanne Parulis. She is also survived by Great nieces; Stacy Kelly, Kristi Adams, Melissa McNulty, Ashley Barber, Kristin Watkins, Olivia Parulis, great nephews; James Croley, Christian Barber, and Matthew Parulis. (9 great great nephews, 7 great great nieces. All are respectfully invited to attend a visitation, Saturday, with calling hours 8:30 to 10:00 am at the Mahal-Ritzel Funeral Home Inc., Minersville. A Christian funeral service will be held at the funeral home at 10:00 am with the Reverend Jason F. Stokes officiating. Interment Hummelstown Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hummelstown Cemetery Association 186 S. Railroad St. Hummlestown , PA 17036. Mahal-Ritzel Funeral Home Inc., Minersville entrusted with the arrangements.
