Claude Rogers McQueen, 88 of Fayetteville, passed away Tuesday, October 12, 2021 at Cape Fear Medical Center.

Born in Cumberland County, Claude is the son of the late Claud and Sallie McQueen. Claude was a veteran on the U.S. Army and greatly enjoyed tending to his yard whenever the chance arose.

He is survived by his wife, Sarah McQueen; daughter, Terry Phillips and husband Thirston; son, Doug McQueen; 6 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; brother, Robert McQueen and wife Nett; and a host of other family members and friends.

Claude will be greatly missed by everyone who knew and loved him.
