Rochester – Jeanie G. Downs, 70, passed away Monday October 4, 2021 at her home following a period of failing health. Born December 29, 1950 in Rochester, NH she was the daughter of the late Walter and Accursia (Quadrino) Pierce. Jeanie had worked in housekeeping at Bellamy Fields. She was very devoted to her Congregation, loved spending time with her family, and taking trips to the ocean. Jeanie was loved by so many and always had a listening ear. She gave whatever she had to anyone who was in need. She was truly a great mother, sister and grandmother who will be deeply missed by all. Members of her family include her children Judy Patch of Farmington, NH; and Frank Downs of Farmington, NH; her siblings Rodney Pierce of Lebanon, ME; Harry Pierce of Rochester, NH; Kathleen Rigazio of Rochester, NH; and Mary Jewell of Rochester, NH; six grandchildren and one great grandchild, many nieces and nephews.
