<p><span style="font-size:18px;"><strong><span style="font-family:trebuchet ms,helvetica,sans-serif;">Billy Wayne Fisher, 78, husband of Mary Frances “Fran” Fisher and a resident of Parksley, VA, passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 10, 2021, with his loving family by his side. Born September 23, 1943 in Marvell, AR, he was the son of the late Henry and Josephine Fisher.</span></strong></span></p> <p><span style="font-size:18px;"><strong><span style="font-family:trebuchet ms,helvetica,sans-serif;">An “old school” trucker, Billy spent a majority of his career driving for Perdue Farms. He was as real as they come, often with no filter, and never without a sense of humor. Billy was loved by many and will be greatly missed.</span></strong></span></p> <p><span style="font-size:18px;"><strong><span style="font-family:trebuchet ms,helvetica,sans-serif;">In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children, Rhonda English of Holly Springs, NC, JoAnna Rose and her husband, Christopher, of Clayton, NC, Les Fisher and his wife, Oksana, of Chester, MD, Brooks Fisher and his wife, Akari, of Bradenton, FL, Linda Burford of Princess Anne, MD, Deborah Wright of Temperanceville, VA, Christine Michaud of Pocomoke, MD, and Richard Michaud of Biddeford, ME; sister, Virginia Sovia of Sevierville, TN; grandchildren, Holly Labrosse, Brenna English, Alex and Jacob Rose, Matthew, Adam and Emma Fisher, and Bryce, Aaliyah and Bianca Fisher; and great-grandchildren, Tully Labrosse and Cody English. Sorry to here about Bill. Worked with him at Holly Farms and Perdue. Also did a lot of work on his lawnmowers when he was cutting yards for people. I know he will be missed.
