Gary David Vasel, 36, of Hannibal, Missouri, passed away at 8:30 AM, Wednesday, October 13, 2021, in Hannibal, Missouri. Arrangements for Cremation are under the direction of the James O'Donnell Funeral Home in Hannibal, Missouri. There are no services planned at this time. Gary was born July 15, 1985, in Hannibal, Missouri to David Charles Vasel and Janice Smith. Survivors include his mother of Hannibal, Missouri; 4 children, Kaylee Vasel, Kenley Vasel, Hunter Vasel and Bentley Vasel; 1 sister, Jennifer Robertson; and 1 uncle, Charles Smith. Gary was preceded in death by his father; grandmother, Bertha Large; and 3 cousins, Kenny Oppy, Josh Orr and Boogie Orr. Gary was a laborer by profession, largely doing home repairs. He was a Christian by faith. Gary loved spending time outdoors in nature, but cherished his time with family more than anything. He will be greatly missed by those who shared in his life. Memorials may be made to the James O'Donnell Funeral Home for Funeral Expenses.
