Joyce M. Joines of North Wilkesboro, entered into her eternal rest on Tuesday, October 12, 2021 to be with her heavenly Father. 

Joyce was born on December 14, 1933 to the late Robert Peerless and Sina Brown Miles.  Her loving husband of 57 years predeceased her in death in 2013, the late Reverend Dewey Fred Joines. 

Joyce is preceded in death by her siblings; sisters, Irene Miles, Pauline Miles Cleary, Helen Miles and one brother James B. Miles.

  Those left to cherish her life, love and memory are her daughter, Vickie Hash and husband Steve, of North Wilkesboro; her grandchildren, Adana Holman (Gary) of North Wilkesboro, Jake Royal (Krystal) of North Wilkesboro, Steven Hash of Durham and Michael Hash of Clayton, 8 great grandchildren, Bethany, Tre’, Zack, Samantha, Cylei, Mikey, Myah and Skylar. 

Joyce had an unwavering faith in God.  Over the years, she was involved in various church ministries and made several mission trips to Kentucky with her husband. 

A graveside service will be held Friday, October 15, 2021 at 2 p.m. at Mountlawn Cemetery in North Wilkesboro.   Her nephew, Elder Keith Miles and daughter, Vickie Hash will be performing the ceremony.
