Lorene Hattie Polson Rogers, 95 of LaFollette, Tennessee passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 12, 2021. Lorene was born on June 15, 1926 in Terre Haute, Indiana and raised in LaFollette until she moved to Michigan in 1946. She was preceded by death of her husband of 50 years, Clifton, Sisters: Kathryn Paul and Imogene Nicholson, Brothers: Sherwood Polson, John Polson and Robert Polson. She is survived by her loving daughter Lois Rogers (Ron) Hunt, grandchild Wendy (Kevin) Sanders, great grandson, Ty Sanders, nieces, nephews and other family members close to her. She worked at GM and lived in Pontiac, Michigan until she retired at 55. She returned to LaFollette following the passing of her husband, Clifton. Lorene was a member of Fundamental Missionary Baptist Church. She worked hard, led a simple life and always enjoyed being a part of family activities. Family will receive friends 12-1 PM, Friday, Cross-Smith Funeral Home with funeral service to follow at 1 PM Cross-Smith Chapel, Rev. Larry Russell officiating.
