Jane Langston Turner Jackson, 84, passed away on Friday, October 8, 2021. A graveside service will be held Friday, October 15, at 11 AM at Westview Cemetery. The family will receive friends thirty minutes prior to the service. The family requests masks be worn. Jane, daughter of John and Mary Langston, was a lifelong resident of Kinston. She retired from Dupont in 1983 and was a longtime member of Sharon United Methodist Church. Jane loved to play golf, bowl, and spend time with her family. She felt her calling in life was to be a caregiver. Jane is preceded in death by her husband, Dorsey Jackson; and great grandson, Trenton Strickland. She is survived by her sons, Kilby “Kimbo” Turner (Sue) of Cove City, Johnny Turner (Patty), Vince Turner (Kim) all of Kinston; stepson, Tony Jackson (Rose) of Garner; grandchildren, Jacob Turner (Meagan), Kimberly Kidd (Barry), David Turner, Brian Jackson, Clayton Turner (Billie); great grandchildren, Mikayla Smith, Sebastian Kidd, Emma Christie, Jasmin Turner and Levi Turner.September 20, 1937 - October 8, 202109/20/193710/08/2021
