<p>On Thursday, September 30, 2021, Kenneth William VanKruiningen, loving husband and father of two children, passed away at the age of 78.</p> <p>Ken was born on March 6, 1943 in New Jersey to Jeanette and Engel VanKruiningen.&nbsp; He attended Hawthorne High School and resided in New Jersey.&nbsp; He married Jacqueline Montalto on October 10, 1964 and they were married for 56 years.&nbsp; They raised two children, Michael and Nichelle.&nbsp;</p> <p>Ken had a passion for wood working, building and was a fine craftsman.&nbsp; He was known for his work ethic, dry sense of humor, zest for a good time, and his helpful spirit.&nbsp; While living on the east coast, he loved visiting New England, summers on the shoreline and boating. &nbsp;In 1993, he and Jackie moved to Arizona where he later retired.&nbsp; Ken loved the beautiful weather and Arizona desert, was an avid golfer and lifetime Yankees fan.</p> <p>Ken was preceded in death by both of his parents, his mother-in-law Terry, brother James and brother-in-law Daniel.&nbsp; He is survived by his beloved wife Jackie, his two children, Michael and Nichelle, four grandchildren, Karlie, Jake, Griffin and Taylor, his sister Janice, his sisters-in-law Genevieve, Terese and Jeannine, his brothers-in-law Thomas, Vincent, Robert and Donald, loving nieces and nephews, cousins, adored friends and neighbors, and dog Lola.</p> <p>A private cremation occurred at Camino Del Sol Funeral Home in Sun City West, AZ.&nbsp; Donations may be sent to: <a href="https://www.hov.org/donate/">Hospice of the Valley</a>, 1510 E. Ken was born on March 6, 1943 in New Jersey to Jeanette and Engel VanKruiningen.  He attended Hawthorne High School and resided in New Jersey.  He married Jacqueline Montalto on October 10, 1964 and they were married for 56 years.  They raised two children, Michael and Nichelle.
