Patsy Lee Magharea, 67, of Decatur, Illinois, formerly of Paris, Illinois, passed away at 11:20 a.m. Monday, October 11, 2021, at the home of her niece in Paris. She was a retired home health care provider and had also worked at Casey’s in Paris. She was born November 15, 1953, in Danville, Illinois, the daughter of the late Herman and Ethel Mae (Abston) Cook. She married Michael Boots in Scottland, Illinois; he preceded her in death on January 7, 1997. Survivors include a daughter, Dusty Dawn Boots of Decatur, Illinois; a sister, Karen Hurst of Paris; two grandchildren, Isaiah and Hadriana Boots; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Patricia Lynn Boots; a son, Michael E. Boots; and a sister, Marjorie Coleglazier. Pat enjoyed collecting Native American artifacts, fishing, music, and spending time with her family. SERVICE INFORMATION Memorial visitation was from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. Monday, October 18, 2021, at Templeton Funeral Home. Interment will be private at a later date.
