Edna Bernice Long

LONG, Edna Bernice – of Davison, age 94, died Sunday, October 10, 2021 at her residence. Funeral Service will be held at 3:00 PM Monday, October 18, 2021 at O’Guinn Family Funeral Home in Clio, Michigan. Chaplain Donald Bunker officiating. Burial in Montrose Township Cemetery. The family will receive visitors on Monday, October 18, 2021 from 11:00 AM until time of service at 3:00 PM at the funeral Home. Memorial contributions can be made to the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Edna was born June 9, 1927 in Lapeer, Michigan to the late Sylvester and Annabelle (Johnson) Vincent. She grew up in Flint, Michigan and attended school there. On April 19, 1944 she married George Long and he preceded her in death on November 16, 2010. Edna was very strong in her faith in the lord. She enjoyed cooking, baking knitting and crocheting. However, spending time with her family and Sunday dinners were what she loved doing. The family would like to give a special “Thank You” to Heart to Heart Hospice and Armani Grace Home Care. Surviving are: Children, Judy Bassage, George (Pat) Long; Grandchildren, Michelle Ancira, Robin Bassage, Amy (Rob) Kuchar, Christopher (Angela) Long; Great Grandchildren, Tyler Jones, Masen Ancira, Aylen Kuchar; Sisters, Violet Vincent, Dorla ( Sandy Finch) Bradburn; several special nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her Parents; Husband, George Long; Siblings, Budd Vincent, Larry Vincent, Bonnie Jones, Maxine Oakvath.
