Daniel Boyd Galloway Huntsville, Alabama Obituary

Daniel Boyd Galloway

Daniel Boyd Galloway, 79, passed away peacefully at his residence in Huntsville on October 11, 2021. He was preceded in death by his parents, Francis Boyd Galloway and Ethel Brown of Georgia, his beloved wife of 50 years, Kathy Reynolds Galloway, and his faithful companion, Blackjack. In his early years, Dan worked as an automobile collision repair specialist all over the south. He and Kathy were noted for their many residences as they moved frequently from Georgia to Texas, until taking management positions with both Walmart and Advanced Auto companies. Before his final retirement, Dan enjoyed working as a driver, delivering automobile parts throughout Alabama and Tennessee, as this allowed him to continue to be “on the move”. In his later years, he enjoyed gardening and lawn mower repair. He is remembered and loved by a large extended family and many friends and co-workers. Visitation will be from 9:30 to 11 a.m. on Friday, October 15 at Laughlin Service Funeral Home. A graveside service will follow at 11:30 at Plainview Cemetery in Hazel Green.
