Arthur "Art" Robert Bradley

Arthur “Art” Robert Bradley, age 83 of New Castle, passed away the morning of Oct. 12, 2021, at UPMC Jameson Hospital. Born Aug. 25, 1938, in Union Twp., New Castle, he was the son of the late Arthur Peter Bradley and Betty (Young) Assid. Art attended Union High School and earned his GED while faithfully serving his country in the United States Navy. He was employed as a steel worker retiring from Blair Strip Steel. Art enjoyed hunting and the outdoors, wood working, Forbush’s and May’s Donuts. He was an advocate and sponsor for Alcoholics Anonymous (AA). Art was known for his sense of humor and his love for his family. He attended First United Brethren Church. Survivors include one son, Robert Edward (Susan) Bradley of New Castle, PA; two daughters, Patricia (Dr. Allen) Chamovitz of Advance, NC and Linda (J. Gary) Senko of DuBois, PA; one sister, Helen Diehl of New Castle, PA; grandchildren, Kurtis (Jaclyn) Sniezek of Beaver Falls, PA, Joseph (Taylor) Senko of Uniontown, PA, Carly (James) West of Barrington, NH, Kyle Bradley of New Castle, PA; great-grandchildren, Brooke & Scarlett Sniezek, Beckett & Branson Senko, Mason & Cameron West; former spouse Barbara Ann Houk-Bradley; many friends and caregivers of Life Lawrence County and Shenango Tree Top Apartments. In addition to his parents, Art was preceded in death by one brother, David Bradley and one sister Barbara Korpela. Visitation will be held on Thurs. Oct. 14th from 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm at the R. Cunningham Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 2429 Wilmington Road, New Castle. A service will follow immediately at 7:00 pm with the New Castle Area Honor Guard performing Military Rites. Memorial contributions may be offered to First United Brethren Church, 1900 Eastbrook Rd., New Castle PA 16101.
