Ruby Ziegler
<p>Ruby G. Ziegler, 85, of Coatesville, passed away October 12, 2021 at Tel Hai Retirement Community. She was the wife of Theodore C. “Ted” Ziegler, sharing 65 years of marriage.</p> <p> Born in Downingtown on April 14, 1936, she was the daughter of the late Norman and Anna (Linderman) Gottier. Ruby graduated from Downingtown High School, and went on to work at various places in Retail. She was a sales manager at JC Penny, and also managed Calmart in Coatesville. She was a member of Hibernia United Methodist Church, and she loved spending time looking into, and documenting, her family history.</p> <p>In addition to her husband, Ruby is survived by her son Richard C. Ziegler (Shay) of Coatesville, daughter Mary J. Alexander (Denny) of Oro Valley, AZ; grandchildren Tristen Bowen (Nick), and Tyler Ziegler (Lauren); great grandchildren Grace and Gavin Bowen, with one on the way; a sister Reita Good; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her fifteen siblings.</p> <p>Services will be held on Friday, October 15, 2021 at 11 am at The James J. Terry Funeral Home, 1060 W. Lincoln Hwy, <strong>COATESVILLE</strong>, PA 19320. Viewing will be held from 10-10:45 am prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will take place in Fairview Cemetery, Coatesville.</p> <p>In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Ruby’s memory to Hibernia United Methodist Church, 220 Hibernia Road, Coatesville, PA 19320.</p>October 12, 202110/12/2021
