Joan J. Crimaldi, 86, of Nutley, passed away on October 8, 2021. Born in Belleville, NJ, she resided in Nutley most of her life. Joan was the daughter of the late Jerry and Elsie (Christian) Morrone. She was predeceased by her loving husband James R. Crimaldi, her brother Gerald Morrone and his wife Lucy, sister Marie Gaccione and her husband Angelo, and her brother George Morrone. She leaves behind her daughters Lynne Aquino and her companion Douglas Holmes, Tracey Saporito and her husband Daniel, Sister-in-law Elizabeth Morrone, brother Ramon Morrone, and his partner Frank D’ Angiolella, grandchildren Jaclyn Aquino, Danielle, Jenna, Michael Saporito and a great grandson Kaiden Aquino.

The funeral will be on Saturday, October 16, 2021, from the S.W. Brown & Son Funeral Home, (www.swbrownandson.com), 267 Centre St., Nutley at 9:30am.

A mass of Christian burial will be offered at St. Mary’s Church, 17 Monsignor Owens Place, Nutley NJ at 10:30am.

The entombment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington, NJ.

Visitors will be received at the funeral home on Friday, October 15, 2021, from 5-8pm.
