<p><br /> <span style="font-size:16px;"><span style="font-family:times new roman,times,serif;">Ederne Etienne was born on January 19th, 1970, to Julie and Evangelus Etienne. Though born on the island of Bahamas, Ederne resided in Hampton, VA for over 24 years.&nbsp; He always proudly represented the country of Haiti where he spent 5 years of his youth alongside his brothers and his maternal grandparents. Born into a large loving family, he was the 2nd child out of 10 children and the eldest child of his father Evangelus.<br /> In 1997, he met and fell in love with his beautiful soulmate Delesha Etienne. Over the course of their 24-year love story, they raised their wonderful children: Shawn, Destiny, Shaquan (daughter in law Courtney) &nbsp;and his godson Tyrone. The also were blessed with amazing grandchildren: Samiyah, Amir, Skylar Dior, and Shaquan Jr.<br /> Ederne, affectionately known as Sha to his wife and family or Polo Zoe to his friends and neighbors, was a strong provider for his family. Through his hard work and God&rsquo;s grace Sha was able to support his loving family.<br /> He loved his family and was the protector for his brothers and sisters while growing up. His family extended beyond his blood, to his wife&rsquo;s family. He loved the Myers family as much as he loved his own family.<br /> Throughout all of life&rsquo;s obstacles he maintained a positive attitude. He had a strong faith in God, which he instilled in his children and grandchildren.<br /> Ederne Etienne, Sha, Mr. Polo, always set the sky as the limit for his expectations for his children. He always encouraged them to ACHIEVE way beyond what they could imagine. They all credit him for their MANY SUCCESSES today.<br /> He is survived and lovingly remembered by his wife, his children &amp; grandchildren, mother, brothers, and sisters and countless family members and friends. Ederne Etienne was born on January 19th, 1970, to Julie and Evangelus Etienne. Though born on the island of Bahamas, Ederne resided in Hampton, VA for over 24 years.  He always proudly represented the country of Haiti where he spent 5 years of his youth alongside his brothers and his maternal grandparents.
