<p>James Joseph Andrew Nelson, 75, of White Hall, died Thursday, October 7, 2021.</p><p><br></p><p> He was born June 9, 1946 in Racine, Wisconsin, son of James Joseph Nelson and Josephine Nelson.</p><p><br></p><p> Mr. Nelson graduated from Central High School in Little Rock.</p><p><br></p><p> He started his career as a painter and later welded for several manufacturers, retiring around 2010.</p><p><br></p><p> Mr. Nelson enjoyed the outdoors, including camping, fishing, hunting and trapping.</p><p><br></p><p> Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Phyllis Nelson; and a few siblings.</p><p><br></p><p> Survivors include his son, Michael Nelson (Tricia) of White Hall; grandchildren, Christopher, Kayla and Jacob; two great-grandchildren, Johnny and Kristen; and several brothers and sisters.</p><p><br></p><p> Funeral services will be 3:30 p.m., Wednesday, October 13, 2021 at Robinson and Fuller White Hall Funeral Chapel with Reverend Stewart Marshall officiating.
