Nural Stoianov

Nural Stoianov, also known as Ms. Piano by her students, died peacefully surrounded by her loved ones on October 10, 2021 at 3 am at her home in Hillsburgh, Ontario after a courageous battle with cancer. Nural was born and raised by her parents Mecit and Feride Has along with her 4 siblings in Adana, Turkey. She graduated from Ankara University with degrees in Sociology, Anthropology and Psychology. She moved to Canada in 1989 with her late husband, Mehrdad Amin, of 25 years and their two daughters. She had a long and successful career as a teacher with Peel District School Board. Nural was happily remarried to her current husband, Gabriel Stoianov, for more than 21 years at the time of her passing. Nural is survived by her husband, two daughters and two grandchildren. Besides spending time with her family and her friends, Nural had a passion for teaching her students, travelling, maintaining a healthy lifestyle, shopping, and caring for her pets Tiger, Tarzan and Cleo. Nural had a bright and energetic personality and was known for her ability to sense when people needed her help. Her immeasurable strength, honesty, loyalty and determination are the most important qualities others valued in her. She touched many lives with her generosity and passion for life. Friends will be received at the Jones Funeral Home on Sunday October 17, 2021 from 1:00, until time of service at 3:00pm in the chapel.
