Bill B. Everhart, age 84, of Carpentersville passed away peacefully in his home under the care of his family and hospice on Sunday afternoon, October 10, 2021. Bill was born in Kirksville, Missouri on July 15, 1937 and was the son of the late Robert F. & Sadie O. Everhart.


Bill & Doris raised their family made their home in Carpentersville for the past 46 years. By profession, Bill was a design Engineer in the Electronics industry. Prior to retirement, he was a longtime loyal and valued employee of McGohan Electronics in Bensenville. Bill was a Ham Radio Operator and operated under the call letters of K9QBL


Survivors include his wife of 65 years Doris; Their two sons, Roger (Carol) and Doug (Tracy) Everhart; His grandchildren all whom he loved and was very proud of, James, Christopher, and Amelia Everhart, Andrew, and Kaitlyn Boal, Alexandra, Kimberly, and Elizabeth Everhart. Other survivors include his brothers, Carl (Adrienne) and Samuel (Carlene) Everhart, along with many nieces, nephews, and friends. In addition to his parents, Bill was preceded in death by his daughter, Bobette Boal.


Visitation will be held at Miller Funeral Home, West Dundee on Saturday from 9:00 A.M. until the time of the Funeral Service at 10:00 A.M. with Rev. Scott Swanson, officiating. Burial will follow at Elm Lawn Cemetery in Elmhurst. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation in Bill’s name to the American Cancer Society. For information, please call 847-426-3436
