Frank Louis Spada

Frank Louis Spada, 63, of Brick passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, October 10, 2021 surrounded by his loving family. Mr. Spada was an underwriter at Delta Dental Insurance Company in Parsippany for many years. Frank was also very athletic, he loved playing baseball with the guys as a member of the Fairfield Marlins. Frank also had a soft spot for animals and rescued a number of dogs over the years. He was very social during his life, he had lots of friends and loved to entertain at parties. A huge sports fan, his favorite teams were the Green Bay Packers, NJ Devils and the New York Mets. Born in Newark, he lived in Fairfield for many years before moving to Brick 3 years ago. Frank was predeceased by his parents, Louis and Nancy Spada. Surviving is his loving wife of 41 years, Teresa L. (Parisi) Spada; son, Andrew L. Spada and his fiancé, Erika Fazekas of Brooklyn, NY; daughter, Teresa M. Spada and her fiancé, Gil Olini of Avenel; brother, Gary Spada and his partner, Rose Eaton of Point Pleasant; as well as many nieces, nephews and dear friends who will miss him a lot. A memorial visitation will be held on Saturday, October 16, 2021 from 2-6pm at the O’Brien Funeral Home, 505 Burnt Tavern Road, Brick. A prayer service will be conducted at 5:30pm in the funeral home. Final interment will be private. Donations may be made in his name to the Alzheimer’s Association of Greater New Jersey or to the Local Chapter of the ASPCA.
