Estera "Stela" Toaxen, 94, of Orlando, FL, passed away on Tuesday, October 12, 2021. She was born June 9, 1927, in Abrud, Romania, to the late Vasile and Elena Furdui. Estera "Stela" Toaxen studied at the National Music Academy in Cluj-Napoca Romania then pursuing a career as an Opera Singer.

She is survived by her loving husband Dumitru " Plinius" Toaxen, daughters Giannina Toaxen and Cezarina Vintilla, son in law Ray Vintilla, nieces Diane Flaherty and Dorian Vidu, and many other family and friends. 

The family would like to thank and express their appreciation to the staff at Palm Gardens of Orlando.  

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, October 19, 2021, 1pm, at Collison Carey Hand Funeral Home.  The family will receive friends Monday, October 18, 2021 from 5:30pm until 8:30pm at the funeral home.
