Mr. Julius Glennwood Risher, Jr., 55, of Walterboro, entered into rest Sunday, October 10, 2021, at his residence. 

Born March 10, 1966 in Walterboro, South Carolina, he was son of the late Julius G. Risher, Sr. and the late Sara Frances Bazzle Risher.   He worked for Ryan’s Paint and Body in Walterboro.  He will always be remembered for his love of fishing, cars, and football.

Surviving are: three children, Julius G. “Little Dean” Risher, III, Crystal Risher (Tommy), and Ashley Higgins (Alan) all of Walterboro; a sister, Kaye Jacobs of Walterboro; a brother, Thomas Gruber of New York; and four grandchildren, Marlynn Blauser, Adalynn Blauser, Bentlee Higgins, and Brodie Higgins; his grandmother, Mrs. Betty Bazzle of Arkansas; and his sweetheart, Levette Roark.  He was preceded in death by two siblings, Michael Risher and Diana Sarcinella; and three grandparents, Irvin Bazzle, Nathan Risher, and Elizabeth Humphries. 

Funeral services will be conducted 11 o’clock Wednesday morning, October 13, 2021, from the graveside at Zion Baptist Churchyard, 152 Ruffin Road, Walterboro.  The Reverend Ricky Crosby officiating.
