<p>George Webster Hayes</p> <p> - 03/29/2020</p> <p> </p> <p>George Webster Hayes 68 of Villa Park ,Il. Beloved husband of Karen nee Haglund. Loving father of Peter Hayes, David (Christina) Hayes and Karl (Lauren) Hayes. Cherished grandfather of Kyle, Cayden, Vivian and Amelia. Fond brother of the late Ginny(Jack) Morris. Uncle of John(Robin) and Joe (Lisa) Morris and remembering our Canadian “son” J.F. Labbe</p> <p>Long time member of Teamster local 458M as a lithographer. His passions were dirt track racing, high school hockey and his collies, Roxie and Anna. His racing career started in the early 80s at Santa Fe Speedway (Lightning Rod division) and continued at various tracks in the Illinois/Indiana area. For several years he coached hockey for the Elmhurst YMCA and Willowbrook High School (Villa Park). Later he founded the Illinois Suburban HS Hockey League and served as their Director for many years. In 1995 he received the AHAI Coach of the Year award, and was a 2010 inductee into the Illinois Hockey Hall of Fame (Builders category). </p> <p> </p> <p><strong>Service and interment private. in lieu of flowers memorials can be made to the American Diabetes Assoc.55 E.
