Michael “Mike” G. Ludwig

Michael “Mike” Ludwig, age 70 of Lombard, Illinois returned to his heavenly home on November 1, 2019 after a valiant battle with chronic illness surrounded by his family. Born September 20, 1949 he was the son of the late Edward Sr. and Evelyn nee Dunn Ludwig. His devotion to his family and belief in God supported him in his struggle and ultimately gave him peace.

Mike is survived by his wife Angeline of 49 years, his sons Michael (Marilyn) and Scott (Jennifer); his daughter Vicky (Timothy) Cahill; his sister Charlene Fliflet; his grandchildren Ashley Vranek, Taylour (Tyler) Donovan, Emma Ludwig, Christopher Ludwig, Evelyn Cahill, Audrey Cahill and Eleanor Cahill. Preceded in death by brother Edward Ludwig, Jr. Mike was a loving husband, father, papa, uncle and friend to many.

Visitation on Tuesday, November 5, 2019 from 3-8 p.m. at Steuerle Funeral Home, 350 S. Ardmore Avenue, Villa Park, IL. Funeral Wednesday, November 6, 2019 with 9:15 a.m. prayers at the funeral home, processing to Christ the King Church, 1501 S. Main St., Lombard, IL for 10:00 a.m. Mass. Interment private.
