<p>Allan Russell Erickson</p> <p> - 10/17/2019</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <div><span style="font-size: 14.0pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif;">Allan Russell Erickson, 72, of New Smyrna Beach, Florida went home to the Lord on Thursday, October 17, 2019 surrounded by loved ones.&nbsp; Allan was born in Chicago, Illinois on May 14, 1947 to Russell and Elfrieda Erickson.</span></div> <div><span style="font-size: 14.0pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif;">&nbsp;</span></div> <div><span style="font-size: 14.0pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif;">Allan was predeceased by his father, Russell; mother, Elfrieda; step-mother, Marge; brother, Gordon; uncle, George Benning, step-sister, Marion Czarnik;&nbsp; brother-in-law, Michael Kossak; nieces, Jennifer Kossak and Katie Langridge.</span></div> <div><span style="font-size: 14.0pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif;">&nbsp;</span></div> <div><span style="font-size: 14.0pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif;">He leaves to cherish his memory loving wife, Mary; nephew, Bobby (Eileen) Erickson and niece, Michelle Erickson.&nbsp; Brothers-in-law, Gregory (Ana) Birch and Michael (Carol) Birch.&nbsp; Sisters-in-law, Cecilia (Ardean) Goertzen, Nancy (John) Haight, Barbara Kossak, Patty Langridge.&nbsp; Nephews, Gregory (Paige) Birch, Robert (Allissa) Haight, Johnny Haight,, Jeremy Kossak, Matthew (Jessica) Kossak and Garrett Birch.&nbsp; Nieces, Jessica Haight, Kara (Evan) Suarez, and Megan Langridge.&nbsp; Step-nieces, Christine (Sean) Herd; Denise (Nathan) Mitchell; Marie Daniel; Renee (Darin) Boggs; and Kathy (Dax) Valles-Wallace along with many great and great-great nieces and nephews.</span></div> <div><span style="font-size: 14.0pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif;">&nbsp;</span></div> <div><span style="font-size: 14.0pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif;">Allan worked for the U. S. Postal Service the last 20 years of his career and received numerous awards for his work in Logistics, Materials Management and Distribution Center Operations.&nbsp; Allan received his Masters of Science Degree in 1982.&nbsp; Allan served his country in the U. S. Allan Russell Erickson, 72, of New Smyrna Beach, Florida went home to the Lord on Thursday, October 17, 2019 surrounded by loved ones.  Allan was born in Chicago, Illinois on May 14, 1947 to Russell and Elfrieda Erickson.
 
Allan was predeceased by his father, Russell; mother, Elfrieda; step-mother, Marge; brother, Gordon; uncle, George Benning, step-sister, Marion Czarnik;  brother-in-law, Michael Kossak; nieces, Jennifer Kossak and Katie Langridge.
