 Arlene Nina Frindt nee Huff, age 90, 40-year resident of Addison, IL and the last 5 years at Cordia Senior Residence, Westmont, IL, died December 15, 2018 at Cordia Senior Residence. Arlene was a loving mother to Ernie (Dana Kay), and Lori (Robert) Abrant. Dear grandmother to Olivia and Glen. Fond aunt and great-aunt of many nieces and nephews. Arlene is survived by her beloved sister Bernice nee Huff Boubel of Mankato, MN. Arlene has passed on to join seven predeceased brothers and sisters. She was born to the late Walter and Olga nee Schultz Huff on September 6, 1928 in Seeley, WI. She married the late Bob Frindt on September 3, 1949 and enjoyed 54 delightful years together. Arlene and Bob relocated to the Chicagoland area in the early 50’s where work was more plentiful. There they raised two children and became used to “the city life.” As a family they made many trips “up north” and stayed in contact with many relatives still living in Wisconsin. Arlene and Bob enjoyed traveling and sightseeing on Bob’s motorcycle. They traveled to many bike rallies, visiting friends and relatives on the way. Arlene enjoyed creating things with her hands. She crocheted, sewed, crafted and finished many needlepoint projects. She was kind, witty, young at heart, and left an impact on all she met. She will be missed by all who knew her.

Community visitation Friday, December 28, 2018 beginning 10:00 a.m. with a memorial service following at 11:00 a.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church, 300 S. Ardmore Ave., Villa Park, IL 60181. Internment planned for early summer 2019 in Seeley, WI.
