<p>Catherine ” Kay ” Wolf</p> <p> - 03/20/2016</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>Catherine "Kay" Wolf, nee Neary, age 86, formerly of Villa Park, IL. Beloved wife of the late Marvin Wolf. Loving mother of Marvin Jr. (Beverly), Eileen (Phillip) Sanders, Michael (Kathleen), Elizabeth (Mike Barry) Kotwas, Patrick (Kathleen) and Cathleen Nevara; Loving grandmother of Terry (Cheryl), Jamie, Ben, Matt, Ashley (Nic), Dan, Kyle, Tom and Jenna; three great grandchildren Maddie, Henry and Calvin; and her sisters-in-law Tillie Neary and Elfriede Shane. She was preceded in death by her parents Edward and Catherine Neary, her sisters Genevieve and Eileen, her brothers Thomas, Edward and Charles, and her grandson Nicholas Kotwas. </p> <p>Kay was born in Chicago. After the death of her parents, she lived with her older sister Eileen. They moved to the west suburbs, where Kay attended high school and later went to work at Illinois Bell Telephone Company. She and Marvin married, living first in Glen Ellyn then moving to northwest Villa Park in 1959. Kay continued to work at Illinois Bell while raising her six children and being active in Schafer School PTA for many years. Kay retired from Illinois Bell in 1988, and later Marvin and Kay moved to Rancho Cucamonga, CA, where they were managers of a mobile home park. Kay moved back to Illinois in 2014 and had been living at the Brookdale senior living community in Lisle.</p> <p>Visitation will be Wednesday, March 23, from 3:00 pm - 8:00 pm, at Steuerle Funeral Home, 350 S. Ardmore Ave, Villa Park, IL and service will be at 7:00 pm. Interment will be at a future date at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, Elwood, IL.
