WWII U.S. Army veteran. Beloved husband of Ruth. Loving father of Robert C. Jr. (Barbara), Richard and Carolyn (Jeff) Curtis. Dear grandfather of Erik, John, Jason, Shannon Sear , Noah and Josh Curtis. Great grandfather of 5. Fond brother of June (Roy) Chute, the late Barbara (Fred) Denny. Uncle to many. Visitation Friday 3-8 p.m. at Steuerle Funeral Home 350 S. Ardmore Avenue, Villa park, IL. Lying in state Saturday 9:30 a.m. until time of service 10:00 a.m. at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 545 S. Ardmore Avenue, Villa Park.
