Eero A. Turen age 72, longtime resident of Villa Park. Born in Finland and became naturalized citizen, served in United States Coast Guard, Chicago Bears Season Ticket Holder, coached Lombard youth baseball, Lombard youth football volunteer, Cub Scout leader, Lombard Evening Lions Club,St Pius X Knights of Columbus, Usher at St Pius X in Lombard, Finnish-American Society of the Midwest,Finnish Chamber of Commerce,Scandinavian Park (Vasa),former Treasurer of Villa Park Historical Society, Treasurer of National Imperial Glass Collectors Society, Fox Valley and Northern Illinois Candlewick Collectors and Imperial Enthusiasts, Enjoyed traveling and spending time with family. Married 50 years to his beloved wife Patricia. Loving father of Eero “Terry” Turen II (Amy). Treasured grandfather of  Savannah. Dearest son of May (late Teppo}. Fond brother of Rita. Uncle of Christina. Many relatives in Finland.

 In lieu of flowers, memorials to St Pius X Knights of Columbus appreciated.

Ardmore Ave. Villa Park, Il. 6018 from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Funeral Thursday Prayers 9:15 a.m. from the funeral home to St. Pius X Church 1025  E. Madison Lombard ,Il. 60148  Interment Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery Elwood, Il.
