<p>&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; Frankie Dwain Dobbs</p> <p>Born July 29, 1953, in Dumas, Texas, Frankie passed away October 8, 2021, at his home in Hobbs, New Mexico.&nbsp; Frankie, a longtime resident attended school in Hobbs, NM, served in the U.S. Army and was a Vietnam veteran.</p> <p>At the time of his death, he was the retired owner of a local welding service; he also was a rancher that enjoyed tending to his horses and cattle. &nbsp;He Loved his dog Bell who went most places with Frankie in the bed of his truck.</p> <p>Among his many life experiences he drove cattle trucks, was a horse wrangler for packing &amp; camping operation in California. He also worked on ranches and trained horses in Oklahoma.&nbsp; He owned an ice distribution company in Visa, Oklahoma, was a landlord with many rentals, was a welder by trade and built fences for his life-long friend, Tom Jones . &nbsp;An award-winning team roper and &ldquo;Storyteller&rdquo; who loved to make people laugh, Frankie loved people and they loved him; he will be dearly missed by many.&nbsp; Most of all he was a God fearing man who loved his neighbors as he did himself.&nbsp; Frankie was a generous man; he visited widows and orphans and believed in Gods Mercy and Grace. Frankie was a loyal member of the Church of the First Born.</p> <p>&nbsp;He was preceded in death by parents Dwain and Virginia Dobbs, 2 brothers Gary and Rocky Dobbs.</p> <p>In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Cowboy Hall of Fame, at the Western Heritage Museum of Lea County, 5317 N Lovington Hwy, Hobbs NM 88240 in the name of Frankie Dwain Dobbs.</p>

Born July 29, 1953, in Dumas, Texas, Frankie passed away October 8, 2021, at his home in Hobbs, New Mexico.  Frankie, a longtime resident attended school in Hobbs, NM, served in the U.S. Army and was a Vietnam veteran.

At the time of his death, he was the retired owner of a local welding service; he also was a rancher that enjoyed tending to his horses and cattle.  He Loved his dog Bell who went most places with Frankie in the bed of his truck.
